Find peace and balance with your food, body and mind.

Blair Silverman MS, RDN, CDN, RYT-500

I received my masters in nutrition and education from Columbia University, where I also completed my dietetic internship. I gained valuable insight and experience working with intuitive eating, disordered eating and eating disorders while working with Alissa Rumsey Nutrition and Wellness and Anastasia Health.

I have experience working in PHP and IOP programs at both Monte Nido Eating Disorder Treatment Center and Balance Eating Disorder Treatment Center in NYC. I am also a co-lead for NY’s Communities of Healing for Project Heal.

I am a 500 hour certified Urban Zen Integrative Therapist and 500 hour ISHTA certified teacher. In addition to my one on one work in my private practice, I teach therapeutic yoga for the day treatment program at Balance as well as a yoga and meal support group at Integrated eating.

As an integrative practitioner, with 10 years of training and experience, I have also worked with patients and healthcare professionals at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, New York Presbyterian, CancerCare, camp counselors at Kids Need More and taught integrative yoga classes to students and faculty at Columbia University.

How I Got here:

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to meditation, energy work and spirituality at young age by my Mom. As a teen, I found the world of nutrition and wellness through my own struggles with eating disorders and body image. I saw the profound impact of having a spiritual practice based in mindfulness had in my own recovery. I also saw how impactful working with a recovered RD was. The combination was truly special. Thus, using my knowledge and personal experience in nutrition and mind body medicine to find recovery; I'm thrilled to pay it forward to YOU!

How I can help

So how can I help you? I work with my clients with a sense of compassion, empathy and zero judgment. Why? Because I’ve been there myself and came out the other side. My ultimate goal is to help you reclaim your relationship with food, your body and most of all yourself. Believe me, it is possible!

If you’re reading this, it’s possible that you’re hurting, so if you need something to brighten your day, just look at this little cutie, my four legged kindred spirit, Pepper!
